slow day...
Apr. 5th, 2012 01:20 amremember my last post (if you saw it at least)? well, this post doesn't necessarily mean that i am back, not completely at least.
for the past couple of weeks, i haven't really written anything (other than the one i'm about to post below). inspiration did come for a bit, but it only stayed for a very fleeting moment before it left again. maybe it has something to do with the timing of things going around me, or the quite insufficient rest i've been having lately, or maybe because, as hard it is for me to admit, i've actually reached the point where i want to tell some of my closest colleagues at work (particularly the ones i've been friends with the longest) to just shut up! i may be turning mean but really, it does get tiring having to listen to her talk about how the world revolves around her. it's getting on my nerves really, and i have to listen to it all day long for five days a week. it would have been easier if i still had my inspiration to write so i can drown her out in my head with plans for the next chapter/story but i don't. i'm not sure though if it's one of the causes or one of the effects. either way, i'm still down.
anyway, what i managed to do though was to watch and read. i've been watching quite a lot lately, mostly Japanese vids and then occasional English movies here and there. i recently watched Hunger Games too, and then read all three books. the movies was nice. i especially loved the scene when the two main characters, Katniss and Peeta, did the parade with those clothes. it was great! the book was a pleasant surprise, especially since i was wondering if this particular series would go down to me the same way that Twilight did. (i watched the first movie first, thought it was nice, read the books then found out i shouldn't have ruined it for me *sighs*) fortunately, it didn't. despite the fact that i still don't like reading first- person point of view stories, i found it a bit easier to ignore that aspect of the story. it's nothing too magical, too enthralling, but it's a good read, and i found myself falling for Peeta's character (not necessarily Josh Hutcherson though i like him, even in Journey to the Center of the Earth). i guess, all things considered, my character included, Peeta may actually be my ideal guy. at the end of the day though, Harry Potter still remains to be my all-time favorite book and series.
as for dramas, i'm planning to download and watch the whole of Lucky Seven after the Holy Week. late i know, but i really, really try my best to not watch (or even read) something before it get's finished. most of the time, it gets in the way of how my mind works (lol). also, i'm excited to see how Ohno and Aiba's drama would work out, Ryo's too (this one i'm particularly interested, maybe just a tad bit more than Ohno's or Aiba's because even though it's going to be a remake, i love the concept! and i particularly enjoy seeing Yuuka! *gasp*), and that drama with the Johnny's juniors and AKB48 girls mainly because Takaki Yuya would be there, although how big or small his role is going to be is still anyone's guess.
anyway, other than to rant and ramble, this post has another reason... which is this! proceed... =)
TITLE: Too Little, Too Late
CHARACTERS: Sakurai Sho, Kitagawa Keiko, Horikita Maki
GENRE: RL
RATINGS: PG
DISCLAIMER: The only thing i own in this story is the plot...
SUMMARY: she was supposed to be used to wroking with good-looking idols...
( Plus there’s him getting a bit too used calling her as “My lady”. )
a little angsty, i know. it's something that entered my mind when i was sitting on the bus on my way back home.
how was it? i'd love to hear your thoughts. :)
