 i actually feel that this day had been quite productive...

i managed to update my cast list for One Chance... well, actually, just add pictures is all i did...
i managed to make two fics from scratch...
and i managed to do some of the things i've wanted to do but never got to doing in the past days...

all in all, quite a productive day...

and i'm actually glad i wrote it... since only after i finished with this did i finally have an idea on what to do for Ohno's birthday fic... it's done too actually, just waiting for the 26th...

 in a non fic-related information...

my sister had always been amused of the fact that i've gone through and to all active debuted Johnny's groups (including Matchy-san and Shounentai) but never really had gone to NewS and KAT-TUN... i mean, i've had days or weeks when i'd watch a certain group, other than the usual Arashi, nonstop except for those two groups...

for NewS case, it was the due to the lack of variety shows (i don't think they have one) which is usually the thing i follow before their music... but i do like Ryo, and i like TegoMasu, too, when they're singing (interviews with just the two of them is another issue of it's own--something i do not want to immerse myself in...)... i might even like their songs too (or part of it, i liked the chorus part of Taiyou no Namida) but i'm really disturbed by the awkward hip-swaying thrown in here and there in their PVs (especially in parts where it's completely not needed)...

as for KAT-TUN, i've downloaded some of their stuff but never really got into them like i've had with the other groups... maybe because i just hate watching a group where one of the members looks like he absolutely wants to be somewhere else... i mean, i get the fact that they have different characters but looking like he actually doesn't want to be there is another matter... but i don't hate Jin... i actually like writing him since he's easy to characterize in words and conversations... i just hate seeing him acting that way... And i seriously do like Kame, he just wasn't enough for me to endure watching Jin that way... and amusingly enough, like what i speculated before, i think i'm seriously liking KAT-TUN now... sure there are still some quirks here and there but they seem more balanced to me now... and i'm seriously liking their latest singe Change Ur World...

now that that is over, to the fic information...

to those (rare/few) who were waiting for the AU fic i was planning to make for the Jun/Mao/Toma storyline, i'm sorry for still not posting... i'm really having a hard time getting through the first chapter--i'd get as far as 6-7 pages and then i'd want to delete everything and start again from scratch (i'm actually glad i'm working on the computer since that would have meant a lot of paper and ink because i've done it for more than half a dozen times now)... i know i said 2-3 posts back that my next possibly post would be that story but i really can't seem to find my rhythm in writing series at the moment... i'm really sorry... and i'm trying my best...

which is why i'm here with another one-shot... inspired by my brief visit to arama after a long, long time...

 This has got to be my most unproductive week of the year yet... After the slight adventures of Monday, and a couple more on Tuesday (along with finding out most of my friends still needs a lot of practice on reading between the lines, at least when i'm not with them, to avoid themselves, and our other friends, from getting in trouble... seriously! i never thought they wouldn't have been given an idea considering the things they told me that happened that night i wasn't able to join them, although they did when it was over. i mean, i would have at least have my doubts! it's either they are denser than i thought, or i'm a lot more speculative, especially in the matters that involves the heart...) but other than that, i spent most of the week sleeping... yes, sleeping...

well, i did start on my job-hunting crusade and finished my actual resume, which surprisingly was a hard thing to do (since it's for real this time, and not just school-related stuff) and had prepared most of the stuff i'm going to need from the applications to the interviews, etc....

i did try to work on my fics too... i started working on the Jun/Mao/Toma AU fic i was planning on doing but i haven't really gotten that far yet to start posting... Of course, trying to write something with my creative juices running dry was difficult, i'm actually proud of myself for getting as far as i did, which wasn't far at all...

i tried getting back my creative juices though, by watching a couple of English-style (as in British style, not American style) romantic-comedy movies, and a few more princess-centered movies (my sister said i was getting desperate when she found out)... they sort of worked too, since i came up with an idea for two fics, one AU and one RL, both with completely different premises, both one shots, and both started but is not finished (though i think i intend to finish them once i get my real rhythm).

The thing is, the one thing that actually made me start something and finish it came from a text message that my sister's friend sent her that i read when i was browsing through her phone...

And while i do not claim that it is great, or even that it is good, it pleased me enough to make me want to share it (and not send it straight to the recycle bin...) it can either be a long drabble or a short one shot but i think i'm going with a short one shot with this...

Yeah... for almost (or practically) two days, my sister and i had been just sleeping due to the fact that there was no light, and really what else can you do in a place where everything else you're capable of doing has something connected to electricity... anyhow, it (the electricity) just came back and i'm connected to the world again... i wasn't even aware of what the storm signal in our place was, let alone know if it's leaving the country or staying for more... (apparently, it's on it's way out--or is out already--of the country...) turns out there were still some casualties but (i think) it was a bit milder considering how big the say the storm is... that is so far, at least, since tomorrows' (or later's) news would reveal much of the damage the storm had made...

on another news, i've just had my second big failure of the year, not that it was a complete failure but i still didn't achieve my utmost desired results... at least, i'm halfway there already though (or 3/4ths or xx/xx since i don't really know how good/bad the results are) and i'm still thinking, the same way during my first big failure of the year, that God has a plan for me and there's a reason why it happened... i'm actually quite surprised that it took me only two hours to recover after finding out about it (or maybe because by then i was worrying that the electricity wouldn't be back soon) but anyway, i still thank God for the experience.... :)

on my fic related news, the 2 Baby Steps sequels i'm working on are still in the works but i finally got something to post to mukae_ni_ikuyo :D

Natsuniji had just aired it's final episode... it only means one thing...

i should restrain myself now more than ever from dl-ing all the episodes and watching them all in one go (especially since i've cleared enough disk space to do just that)... i admit, i am that kind of viewer/reader who prefers to know how things would end before devoting time to it... if i don't like how it ends, i would put off reading/watching it until i have absolutely nothing else to interest me... then, i might give it a chance...

( why i still can't watch it and random ramblings that is somehow connected to Natsuniji... )

on another note, it seemed like whenever i enter my TOA review class, i always get to pick up a phrase or a term that i'd get to use on a fic i'm working on... this time, it gave me the idea of how the story would go for me to use a Shakespearean line i've read recently... this was what i came up with...
