please excuse me while i flail for a while...

anyway... it's been a while since i posted something in here that isn't a fic update...
and rarely have i posted something else over the last few months...
but while i will soon be doing that again (updates for Against the Ghost of You, The Chase, and Fake Fairytale to be posted pretty soon), allow me to do this for a bit...

first off, i am in the midst of, what i like to refer to as, work hiatus...
but it certainly isn't a bad thing though...
in fact, i requested for these two weeks...
i need the time to prepare for something big in my life, way bigger than working in the company i'm employed at...

(actually i'm a bit miffed at the company at the moment due to various reasons... to cut it short, they really are not giving me anything to look forward to going back there... but who am i kidding? i'd have to go back... it's just that i'm not that excited to do that...)

and while i did my preparations (though admittedly, not as serious as some would think), i've also had a bit time to rest...

Resting for me means quite a few things only...

There's sleeping, there's writing, there's watching (and dl-ing) and there's reading...

and considering the number of ongoings i still have, one would assume i'd be writing, right?

well... that's a NO...

i've been dl-ing and watching for a bit this week and i am quite in a SMAP mood (which meant that NEWS really remains to be the only group i am not that interested in of all the Johnny debuted groups... i mean, i'm even interested in Kisumai once they really come out and i find some free time...)

i'm actually just interested to see how this particular group interacts with one another...

now, there's no point in comparing groups to one another... on who's better or who's closer or who's funnier...

every group i've seen has their own brand, their specialty, their type...

and i think that forcing unto a group a style of another wouldn't be good. in fact, it may even ruin everything...

anyway, when i started downloading, i wasn't expecting much...

i mean, i've read a bit about this national idol group, the group characteristics, the group dynamics, the personalities involved, and so on and so forth... i've read stuff like how Nakai, the talker, is also Nakai, the non-singer and how cool Kimutaku is...

i shouldn't be surprised...

but i still am...

by the way, i just realized that the last time i used pics for mys posts (excluding the banners and posters for my fics) was with Arashi + Ashida Mana as well...

yeah, i really love this kid! :)
