A Look Into the Future (Yamada Ryosuke, Takaki Yuya, Yaotome Hikaru, Yabu Kota, Inoo Kei, Shida Mirai, pair:YamadaxShida)

“You look a bit off,” Yamada heard a familiar voice say, following the opening of the door prompting him to sit up and give space on the sofa, as the source of that voice entered the greenroom.

“Oh! Yuyan! You’re here early!” Yamada exclaimed.

“Well, I really didn’t have much to do,” Yuya shrugged with a small smile. “What about you? I didn’t expect you to be in this early? I heard you had a pretty late night shooting last night.”

Yamada gave off a small smile and a shrug. For a few minutes, neither of them really said anything as Yuya started looking over the magazine that was on the table and Yamada leaned on the sofa and closed his eyes again. Truth be told, there is still a good one hour until their call time, about 30 minutes or so more before the others started showing up.

“What’s up?” Yamada heard Yuya suddenly say.

Opening his eyes to peek at the guy, Yamada asked “What do you mean?”

“I told you, you looked a bit off. You look like something is bugging you,” Yuya shrugged, putting down the magazine and looking at him. “Feeling burned out?”

“No, not really,” Yamada shook his head immediately. While he does have quite a bit on his plate at the moment, it still has not reached the point where he needs to say that he can’t handle it anymore. Besides, he’s grateful for the work that’s landing on his feet.

But there is something bugging him and for a good whole minute, he debated in his mind whether he should tell the older idol that or not.

“I had a weird dream last night,” he admitted eventually.

“What about?” Yuya asked.

Yamada sighed, his eyes moving to stare at the ceiling.

“I’m not so sure,” he said. “But it was in a church or something like that. A wedding.”

“That’s weird. Wait! Your wedding?” Yuya asked in a combination of amusement and surprise.

“No!” Yamada replied. “The thing is, it’s my daughter’s wedding.”

“Daughter?” Yuya repeated in surprise. “You had a daughter in your dream?”

“Yeah, I think so,” Yamada sighed. “I mean, I was walking her down the aisle so I think she is my daughter.”

“Oh…” Yuya nodded before he asked “How’d it feel marrying off your daughter?”

“It felt like I didn’t want to,” Yamada admitted, removing his gaze off the ceiling and looking directly at the Yuya. “Do you think that’s weird?”

“I don’t know,” Yuya chuckled. “I don’t have a kid, I wouldn’t know anything about that.”

“Oh, okay,” Yamada sighed, nodding in agreement. He thought the conversation was over then when Yuya asked, as though in after thought, “Who’s the mother anyway, did you see?”

Answering without really thinking it over, Yamada named the woman he saw was looking over as he walked ‘their’ daughter to the altar. “Shida Mirai-chan.”

“Aha…” Yuya exclaimed meaningfully, causing Yamada to double back and think over what he said. But before he could do more than gasp in surprise, Yuya had turned and looked at him amusedly.

“So, in your dream, you’re married and had a daughter with Shida Mirai-chan huh,” Yuya said. “Is there something you should be telling us about? Is something going on between you and Shida Mirai-chan?”

“N-Nothing! Of course not!” Yamada ended up stuttering. Before he could do or say more than that though the door opened again and in came Yaotome, Inoo, and Yabu.

“What’s going on?” Yaotome asked. “Why is Yama-chan blushing?”

Feeling panicky, Yamada turned to Yuya with a plea in his eyes to keep it silent, something the older idol responded with a very amused and meaningful “Nothing. He just had a very insightful dream.”

A Dream and A Promise (Masuda Takahisa, Tegoshi Yuya, gen)

“What’s going on?” Masuda asked in surprise the moment he entered their greenroom and was met by, well, he didn’t really know immediately what met him since he didn’t see it coming. All he saw was a haze of that something that is now rooting him in place. But a few seconds later, he did realize what it was, or who it was.

Tegoshi. Tegoshi hugging him. Tegoshi sniffing and hugging him.

“Please promise me you won’t leave!” he heard the guy cry.

Masuda allowed the guy to hug him for a while more, hugging him back, before he pulled Tegoshi away, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

It has already been months and months since everything happened and, if they were going to be completely honest with themselves, none of them could and would say that they didn’t really see it coming. It’s just that Tegoshi was a bit more hopeful than the rest of them but he thought the guy had gotten over it already.

“What happened?” he asked. “Why are you crying?”

“I had a dream last night,” Tegoshi replied. And even before Masuda could do more than just register that statement in his head, the guy continued “And in my dream, you said you were leaving too! You were saying that you didn’t want to be an idol anymore and that you are going to leave me!”

“Tego-chan,” Masuda had just started to say when Tegoshi started sobbing and hugged him again. “Please don’t leave me,” the guy even said.

Patting his back, Masuda whispered “No one is leaving you. Pi-kun and Ryo-kun left the group but they didn’t leave you. We’re all still here for you, no matter how overly-competitive or annoying you’re going to be. That’s not going to change.”

His sobs slowing down to small sniffs, Tegoshi pulled back and looked at the guy. “You promise?” he asked.

Masuda grinned, and then he nodded. Tegoshi smiled before hugging him again, a little tighter this time and he couldn’t help but chuckle.

“I can’t believe you’re getting this emotional because of a dream…”

To Murderous Results (Chinen Yuri, Arioka Daiki, Nakajima Yuto, Okamoto Keito, Ohno Satoshi, no pair)

“Okay! What’s going on?” Yuto asked the only two people in the room.

He had just entered the greenroom in a bright mood, aided by the knowledge that the whole of JUMP would be meeting up to talk about their Asian tour, when that mood was momentarily shoved away when he was shoved away. By Chinen. With Chinen not even bothering to stop and say sorry. Stepping back to the hallway to follow the guy’s movement with his eyes, Yuto saw that Chinen is now staring at the vending machine as though it had done a great wrong to him.

“What’s up with Chinen-chan?” he asked as he re-entered the room.

“I don’t know,” Keito shrugged, his face showing all the signs of temporary relief at the guy’s exit.

Right next to him, Daiki chuckled. “I’d get out of Chinen-chan’s way for the moment if I were you.”

“Yeah, figured that one out,” Yuto said, shaking his head. “What happened?”

He saw Daiki look around for a bit, presumably to check if Chinen’s around before Daiki chuckled lightly.

“Chinen-chan had a dream,” Daiki said.

“And he’s angry with the rest of the world just because he had a dream?” Yuto asked in surprise.

“Well, Ohno-san is in that dream,” Daiki replied.

“Wait,” Keito interjected, his eyebrows furrowing. “Shouldn’t that mean that Chinen-chan should be in fanboy cloud nine right now? I mean, he dreamt of his all-time favorite person.”

“He would,” Daiki agreed solemnly before he added in a small voice. “Except that in his dream, Ohno-san didn’t take him fishing again.”

“Oh! Too bad for him…” said Keito. “I know he badly wants to go fishing with Ohno-san.”

“And he never had the chance,” Yuto shook his head and sighed.

“Poor Chinen-chan,” Daiki smiled sadly.

“No, I think the proper statement would be poor us,” Yuto corrected just as they heard footsteps coming into the room. “Because as long as there’s nothing sufficient enough to take his attention from that dream and that memory, we are going to be in trouble.”

And true enough, barely had those words left his mouth when Chiene reappeared in the doorway and took one look at the occupants of the greenroom before he snarled “Where the hell are the others?! What’s taking them so long?!”

Worrying your Boyfriend (Ninomiya Kazunari, Aiba Masaki, Sasaki Nozomi, pair: NinoxNozomi)

“You think this is a good idea?” Aiba asked as he and Nino stood by his car at the parking lot, waiting.

Nino snorted. “It was your idea that we give Sho-chan’s birthday gift earlier! Why are you asking me?”

“I’m not talking about the gifts,” Aiba chuckled, shaking his head. “I mean, you asking her to come by here. Do you think it’d be safe?”

Nino sighed before he ended up rolling his eyes. “Look it isn’t my fault I left Sho-chan’s gift since I wasn’t the one who suddenly decided yesterday that we should give his gift days earlier.” he said. “She’s just going to drop it off, don’t get all worried. Since when did you become Jun-kun?”

“Since he told me before we went down,” Aiba chuckled. “But I guess you’re right. What could possibly happen, right?”

Nino chuckled, looking sideways at his friend before that chuckle turned into a full-blown grin when he caught sight of the familiar car approaching.

“She’s here,” he announced just as Nozomi’s car stopped in front of them. Leaning over immediately the moment the driver’s side window opened, he smiled “Sorry for making you come by all the way here.”

“It wasn’t that much of a bother,” Nozomi said with a shrug, taking Nino aback. Before Nino could even say anything, she leaned forward and looked away from Nino and into Aiba. “Hello Aiba-san! It’s nice to see you! Please tell Sho-kun happy birthday for me.”

“Hi! Will do!” Aiba beamed, waving his hand. “And it’s always a pleasure Nozomi-chan!”

Unlike Aiba though, Nino wasn’t smiling, especially with what Nozomi said and did next.

“Anyway, here,” she said, handing Nino a paper bag. “I’m going,” she said before advancing the engine.

Quite struck, Nino found himself staggering back until he heard Aiba chuckle in amusement “You were right. She was literally just going to drop the gift off.”

“The hell you say!” Nino growled, pushing the bag into Aiba’s arm without even looking if Aiba caught it or not and headed towards Nozomi’s advancing car.

Lucky for him, she needed to make a u-turn before she could leave the parking lot, giving him enough time to get to her car.

“Hey!” Nozomi exclaimed in surprise the moment he entered through the passenger’s side of the car without warning, effectively stopping the advancement of the car. “What’s going on?”

“You tell me what’s going on,” he returned, his face both worried and annoyed. “And this isn’t nothing. You won’t turn all cold on me over nothing, and since you weren’t this cold last night, something’s up, I want to know what.”

Nozomi opened her mouth obviously about to dispute his statement before she sighed, allowing her hands to drop to her sides.

“I had a dream about you,” she ended up admitting with her head down.

“O~kay,” Nino started in confusion, the response being one he wasn’t really expecting to hear. He was half-expecting to hear her say that he had done something she didn’t like or something.

“And in my dream you were leaving,” she continued, her head still down as he fingers started to fidget, her voice starting to break. “Leaving me. And you said you didn’t want to be with me and that you didn’t love me and it felt so real and I…”

Halfway towards those words, Nino found himself smiling and before she could finish those words, he had raised her head by her chin and made her look at him.

“And you were afraid,” he ended for her.

It was obvious she was feeling lost and insecure when she met his eyes and admitted “Yes.”

Barely had she admitted did Nino pull her for a tight hug.

“We are going to have to talk about this later,” he said into the hug before pulling her away and looking at her directly. “But I want you to keep in mind that I love you, and that I’m not leaving you. Okay?”

Nozomi simply looked at him for a while, this time, her face void of the worry and insecurity evident there earlier, now replaced by hope and happiness.

“I suppose I kinda overreacted, huh?” she ended up saying.

“Well, since you scared me, yeah,” Nino chuckled. “I thought I did something wrong.”

Nozomi smiled. Just then, they were both surprised when her phone started to ring.

“That’d be my manager,” she said. “I was supposed to be in a shoot five minutes ago.”

Taken aback, Nino asked “I thought you weren’t busy.”

“Well, I wanted to see you,” she admitted sheepishly.

With a huge grin on his lips, Nino leaned over and kissed her full on the lips before saying “I love you. You and I are going to have to talk about this tonight but I want you to remember that.”

Nozomi smiled and nodded and it was already in full confidence that Nino stepped out of her car and waved her goodbye.

“What was that about?” Aiba asked, stepping next to him as he waved at her car.

Nino didn’t reply until Nozomi’s car was out of sight. Turning to Aiba, “She had a dream,” he simply said before taking the paper bag right out of a very confused Aiba.

“Wait! What?”

Dream Translations (Kuroki Meisa, Sakurai Sho, Matsumoto Jun, Ohno Satoshi, Ninomiya Kazunari, pair: OhnoxMeisa)

Meisa would be the first to admit that she found his eluding her is a bit confusing, worrying, and alluring all at the same time. Well, to begin with, she was already warned beforehand that the guy is a bit eccentric and some kind of a loner, even on set, but she can’t help but shake off the feeling that whatever is the reason behind Ohno Satoshi’s distance from her, it’s not merely because of his nature.

He looks like he’s afraid of her for crying out loud!

And it became even more pronounced with the presence of his four younger group mates on set.

“Are you all right, Meisa-san?” Sho asked, looking at her curiously. They, well, most of them at least, were on break for the shoot of Arashi’s special drama.

“What? Yeah,” Meisa admitted, shaking her head lightly and taking her mind of her thoughts. She had just ended up wondering again after Ohno, after being called by the director, walked pass them and she had a feeling that when they caught each other’s eyes, he looked scared. Of her!

“Oh, okay,” Sho smiled. “I thought, I mean, you suddenly became all serious. I thought something came up or something.”

Meisa smiled. “It’s nothing,” she shook her head. “I was just thinking, that’s all.”

“Oh, okay!” Sho shrugged. “I just thought…”

“Sho-kun,” Meisa said, cutting into Sho’s words, much to the latter’s surprise. “Can I ask you something?”

“Sure,” Sho nodded, his fingers freezing atop his laptop keyboard. “What is it?”

“Is Ohno-san always like that?” she asked before she could stop herself. She’s just really curious.

“Oh! Ohchan!” Sho repeated the name in surprise and turning around quickly to search for the guy. “Well, he’s always been silent. I mean, the guy really rarely talks that much, unless he’s drunk. Is that what you’re referring to?”

“Well, yeah, I guess,” Meisa shrugged and sighed. “I’m just a bit curious really. I mean, sometimes, it feels like he’s afraid of me or something.”

Much to her surprise, Sho, who had just grabbed a drink, started choking at her words.

“Are you all right?” Meisa asked, turning to him in worry and surprise.

“Uhm, yeah!” Sho said, still hitting his chest lightly, his ears turning red. “I just remembered, I need to make a phone call. Uh, I, I think you should ask Jun-kun about that,” he added before leaving in a hurry.

“What happened to Sho-kun?” Jun asked just as Sho left.

“Phone call,” Meisa replied in confusion. Not really grasping what just happened with Sho, she decided to heed his advice and ask Jun. “Is Ohno-kun afraid of me?”

“What made you say that?” Jun asked in amusement and surprise.

“Just have this feeling,” Meisa shrugged. It was her turn to be surprised with what Jun said next.

Raising a bottle of water to his lips, “I suppose you can put it that way,” Jun shrugged before taking a swig.

“You mean, he really is?” Meisa asked, turning to completely face the guy. She already had the intention of doing every way and mean she is capable off to wring the information off the guy, but Jun didn’t really need a lot of persuasion.

“Not entirely,” Jun shook his head. “He just kept on having these weird dreams. Why are you so interested?” the guy added meaningfully.

“What?! I am not ‘so’ interested, I’m just simply interested,” Meisa corrected, her cheeks heating up. “What kinds of dreams?”

“You’re really interested, aren’t you?” Jun asked with a small smile and a raised eyebrow.

“Would I be asking if I wasn’t?” Meisa asked right back.

“Touché,” Jun grinned before he added “Scary ones.”

“What? Why?” Meisa asked in surprise.

“Well, he and Aiba-chan went and watched a horror movie not so long ago and he kept having dreams after that. At one time, you were a vampire and you bit him and sucked his blood dry,” Jun said, obviously amused at the memory.

“He did, huh,” Meisa could only mutter as an amused smile crept to her lips before she turned to Jun and asked “Why are you telling me this?”

“You asked, didn’t you?” Jun simply pointed out.

“Well, yeah,” Meisa nodded. “But you’re his friend,” she ended up pointing out too.

Jun grinned. “A friend comes in handy in many different ways. Sometimes, to keep a secret, at others, to push his friend into a good direction,” he said with a meaningful smile. Catching something at the corner of his eye, he raised his bottle and grinned “Good luck!”

Although still slightly confused, Meisa realized immediately what the guy meant when, moments later, Ohno approached the refreshments table. She couldn’t help but smile.

Breathing deeply before gathering up all her guts, she approached the table, and in essence, him.

“The crepes are good,” she offered while in the pretense of choosing her preferred drink.

Ohno practically jumped, hearing her voice next to him. “Oh! Kuroki-san, thank you,” he replied rather uneasily and Meisa couldn’t help but grin.

“You know, I won’t bite,” she said in her normal voice before adding in a voice only loud enough for him to hear as she brushed past the guy “Unless you want me to.”

Ohno was left stunned at the refreshments table as Meisa walked away, a satisfied smirk painted on her lips.

A couple of feet away, Jun raised his bottle in acknowledgment of what Meisa just did as Nino grinned. Ohno still had not recovered.
